The Farmington Hills location (32737 W. 12 Mile Rd.) will have limited hours and services from September 21 through October 8 while concrete beams are removed from the main lobby area.

Even when this location is open during its limited hours, the Children’s Department, Teen Area, Fiction Browsing Room, and Friends Sale Room will remain closed and inaccessible to the public. Collections located within these areas will not be available for browsing.

All Library events affected by these temporary hours have been cancelled. 

The Farmington location (23500 Liberty St.) will maintain normal hours and services.

Temporary Hours at the Farmington Hills Location 

  • Sunday: 1–5 p.m. 

  • Monday through Thursday: 4–9 p.m.  

  • Friday: CLOSED 

  • Saturday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Collections located within these areas will not be available for browsing. Materials from these collections may still be requested through the catalog and picked up once available. Please wait to receive a hold notification before visiting the Library. Holds may take longer than usual to process and may not be available for same-day pickup.
