At Farmington Community Library, we believe in the transformative power of education, creativity, and community. We offer free events that cater to diverse ages and backgrounds, fostering a culture that celebrates ideas, sparks imagination, and encourages lifelong learning.

The Library is seeking like-minded partners—local businesses and organizations—who share our vision of empowering families and nurturing youth literacy in our community. By sponsoring Library programming, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting educational initiatives that make a lasting impact on the community.

Why partner with the Library?

  • Community Impact: Your sponsorship directly contributes to the educational and creative growth of community members of all ages.
  • Visibility and Recognition: Gain exposure among a diverse audience through our events and promotional materials, showcasing your commitment to community enrichment.
  • Engagement Opportunities: Connect with families, youth, and community members on a personal level, demonstrating your dedication to their education and well-being.

Summer Reading

Summer Reading encourages participants of all ages to achieve reading goals, explore new ideas, and connect through Library events. This annual program keeps kids and teens learning during the summer and supports their social-emotional development.

Thanks to sponsors like you, young participants earn prize incentives for completing their goals, including a free book. Research shows that access to books at home enhances vocabulary, boosts comprehension, and fosters literacy. In 2026, we had 3,795 participants and 1,885 readers who finished the 10-hour reading goal! In total, we read 63,975 hours together. With your support, we can continue to reach more young readers and making an even greater impact.
