3D Printing

The Library offers 3D printing at the FCL Farmington Hills location! Submit an .STL file by USB or email, and staff will review the design to ensure it fits within the size/time limits (10” x 6” x 6.7”, up to 12 hours). You’ll choose a filament color, receive a cost estimate, and pay when you pick up your finished print. Pricing starts at $1.00, based on material and print time.

Adobe Creative Suite

A public computer at the FCL Farmington Hills location is equipped with the full Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and more. This workstation is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is perfect for graphic design, photo editing, video production, and other creative projects.

Conversion Station

Preserve your memories with our Digital Conversion Station, available at the FCL Farmington Hills location.

This self-service station lets you transfer photos, slides, VHS tapes, DVDs, cassettes, and film reels to digital formats. Bring removable media such as USB drives, SD cards, or Music CD-Rs to save your files.

This station is first-come, first-served. Users may stay all day, or up to two hours if others are waiting.

Cricut Explore Air 2

Whether you’re a seasoned maker or new to DIY, the Cricut® Explore Air 2 helps you design personalized, professional-quality projects with ease. Create décor, party supplies, wedding designs, apparel, and more.

This machine is available at the FCL Farmington Hills location. Materials are not provided, but you can borrow our tools and accessories kit from the Information Desk for in-library use. This service is made possible by a generous donation from the Junior Optimists of Farmington STEAM Academy.
