This summer, Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) and The Library Network are partnering with Wayne Metro to provide free roundtrip transportation to qualified MAP users.
When booking a Michigan Activity Pass between June and September 2026, eligible users can request free transportation for themselves and a companion to participating destinations in Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties.
What Is Michigan Activity Pass?
Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) gives Michigan library cardholders access to discounted admission and special offers at hundreds of cultural destinations, parks, campgrounds, and recreation areas across the state.

Who Qualifies for Free Transportation?
Library cardholders may qualify for free transportation if they:
- Live in Macomb, Oakland, or Wayne County
- Reserve a Michigan Activity Pass for a participating destination in Macomb, Oakland, or Wayne County
- Request transportation from Wayne Metro at least 7 days before their trip
- If under age 18, are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or another adult age 18 or older
