The award was presented at the annual GFACC Awards Celebration on October 23, recognizing individuals and organizations that demonstrate outstanding service, leadership, and commitment to the local business community.

During the presentation, Annette Compo, GFACC Board Member and Co-Owner of Compo & Medema Group, recognized the Library as “one of the most impactful and essential institutions in our community,” noting its role as a cornerstone of connection, learning and belonging for residents of all ages.

“We are grateful for this recognition and proud to serve a community that values learning, connection, and innovation,” said Sherri Vaughn, Business and Nonprofit Development Director at FCL. “This award highlights my commitment to local businesses and partnerships, as well as the dedication of our staff and volunteers who help make the Library a welcoming place for everyone.”

FCL also extends its appreciation to the GFACC for its continued partnership in supporting education, networking, and resources that strengthen our vibrant and connected business community. The Library looks forward to building on this collaboration in the year ahead.
