Hey kindergarteners through fifth graders! Can’t get enough reading? Join our 250 Books Before Sixth Grade Program! This program is perfect for all readers in kindergarten through 5th grade, including those who have completed the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program.
To get started, visit the Children's Information Desk at either FCL location. You will be given a registration form and reading log to help you keep track of the first 50 books you read. When you complete your first log of 50 books, return the completed registration form to the Children’s Information Desk and receive your first prize! Come back to the Library every time you complete another log and receive a prize! When you have read 250 books, you will receive a $10 gift card to a local bookstore.
- You can read books from home, school, or the Library!
- You can use books that you read for school assignments.
- Listening to audiobooks counts as reading!
- Prizes will be awarded until September 30th of your 6th grade year.
