At Farmington Community Library, we believe in the transformative power of education, creativity, and community. We offer free events that cater to diverse ages and backgrounds, fostering a culture that celebrates ideas, sparks imagination, and fuels a passion for lifelong learning.

The Library is seeking like-minded partners—local businesses and organizations—who share our vision of empowering families and nurturing youth literacy in our community. By sponsoring Library programming, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting educational initiatives that make a lasting impact on the community.

Why partner with the Library?

  • Community Impact: Your sponsorship directly contributes to the educational and creative growth of community members of all ages.
  • Visibility and Recognition: Gain exposure among a diverse audience through our events and promotional materials, showcasing your commitment to community enrichment.
  • Engagement Opportunities: Connect with families, youth, and community members on a personal level, demonstrating your dedication to their education and well-being.

Your support makes a difference.

By partnering with us, you're not merely supporting events—you're investing in our community’s future. We invite you to join in our vision of creating a vibrant, connected community. SUMMER READING

Summer Reading encourages community members of all ages to finish the reading goal, complete special missions, and meet their neighbors at Library events. This annual program helps kids and teens maintain learning while school is out and fosters their social-emotional development.

A crucial impact of this program is the free books kids and teens receive for participating. With the support of our sponsors, every child and teen that signs up and completes the reading goal will receive two free books to keep in their own personal library. We know that growing up surrounded by books in your home helps build vocabulary, increases comprehension, and boosts literacy.

In 2023, our community logged 43,451 hours of reading during the program, and we gave away over 1,700 books to kids and teens! The support of sponsors will help us expand the program in 2024 and place free books in the hands of more young readers.
